I am excited to announce that our proposal to place a street mural in front of Daubenspeck Nature Park has been approved AND partially funded by the Department of Public Works! This mural will serve to calm traffic and highlight the park's 20th Anniversary. Strong communities create strong solutions and opportunities to create beauty where we live. 

Over the next couple of months I will be collaborating with Artists Jamie Locke and Becca Stevens. Jamie, a local mandala mural expert (and so much more), and I will create mural mock ups for our communities to vote on. Becca runs her nature centered art business with her husband Andy. We will work together on a fundraiser selling her gorgeous lapel pins, keychains and earrings featuring native plants and creatures.

The project is scheduled for October 2026. We hope you can join us to celebrate 20 years of this beautiful park!
