Do you often have vivid dreams or colors and symbols come up for you during meditation time? If not, would you like to learn how to practice techniques that can develop this part of your brain?
This workshop will take us deep into our inner symbols followed by an opportunity to capture the impression of the symbol/s through exploring paint colors and drawing. These symbols can help us unlock parts of ourselves and bring something new forward for us. We will learn a little bit about how to use our personal symbols and take home our matted piece at the end.
Two Dates Available:
November 16th 6:30pm-8:00pm at Dancing Flame Medicine Lodge in Martinsville, IN.
December 17th 1:30pm-3:30pm at Blue Sky Earth School in McCordsville, IN

In this unique experimental class, we will create mixed media collage pieces inspired by stories found in the ancient Roman book of myths, Ovid’s Metamorphoses. Each session will start with a story, a meditation and a surprising project. If you would like, your final project can be included in the April First Friday Show, the Metamorphoses, at the studio Alchemy Gallery! Taught by both Addie Hirschten and Victoria Williams Steen. All materials provided.

Students get to know each other well as we create our daily pieces & discuss inspiring artists. Students are encouraged to develop their own style & artistic voice with daily warm-ups & challenges, not just copy an instructor.
